As you know I am delighted with your mulch – it is a very convenient nutrient for my garden soil and forms a natural weed barrier. So good is the weed barrier effect when the mulch meshes together that I barely need to weed anymore.
I am particularly moved to write to commend you on your “Liquid Plant Food”. It has literally worked wonders. I have a Camellia tree in my front garden. It sits next to two large silver birches and has never flowered in the ten years that I’ve lived here, nor had it flowered for the previous owners (they pointed this out when I moved in). It has not been healthy, shedding yellow leaves even in the summer. Within 3 months of applying 5 litres of your diluted plant food late in the season an albeit solitary, perfect white flower appeared. This led me to notice that all the leaves were lush green with not a dead leaf in sight. The tree had boosted 2 or 3 feet in height. This is almost miraculous and a great testament to the beneficial effects of your plant food. I unreservedly recommend your plant food and mulch.

Just thought you might like to hear that we have just won best community garden at ‘Godalming in Bloom’ last week 😊 It was an amazing achievement for the team and thanks in part to lovely people like yourselves who have helped us along the way. Our sensory garden is starting to look really amazing and the plants have established themselves really well with the help of lots of marvellous mulch.

The driver gave me advanced telephone notice, delivery was to time, efficiently carried out by your ‘lady driver’ (whose name I didn’t ask for) and we at Sarisbury were very happy with the service provided. Good use will be made of the mulch in our allotment ‘corner memorial garden’ which, thanks to previous deliveries, is full of colourful flowers and shrubs as the result of improved soil quality. We continually get compliments from passing members of the public looking over our fence ad we are always pleased to attribute our success to Apsley Farms mulch (and a lot of hard work from Liz, the corner area gardener.)
I was lucky enough to win a 730 litre bag of mulch last October in an Allotment Online competition. You very kindly honoured my prize, despite my living in York, well outside the free delivery area!
There was enough mulch for my whole garden in autumn and now the growing season is upon us, I am amazed by the results! Our slug damage is minimal (despite others in our village who claim to hold the national slug and snail collection)!
Everything is growing with such vigour and by now, our beautiful roses which have normally fallen victim to black spot, are only very slightly affected.
I can’t thank you enough and will certainly be ordering more in autumn.
