I LOVED my huge bag of mulch – and so do my plants. I tucked them all up in time for winter – the weeds were left in darkness and meanwhile it’s all rotting down nicely in the rain and the weather and feeding the roots. Highly recommend.
First bought last year and have been very impressed with how well it has acted and been maintained as a mulch over a dry summer for our very dry heavy soil. Has also been a great sip conditioner as I have dug in over the autumn A further bonus has been that it seems to deter rabbits from digging!! Great stuff ! We’ve used it on soft fruit, veggies and as a mulch on flower beds. It supresses weeds and improves the soil structure. Good price and swift, efficient delivery
This will be our third year using Apsley Mulch on our very heavy clay, new build soil. It has been a complete game changer for us, after originally thinking we would mulch just to help with weed suppression. It does this and so much more. The plant growth and health is superb and has been amazing establishing young plants. The worms in our garden do all the hard work with the mulch and the soil condition has been drastically improved. I also love the the drivers are always helpful navigating the fence to drop the bag over. Last year we started using the feed too – excellent value and as good as previous seaweed feeds which are a lot more expensive.
