From ordering to delivery, Apsley’s performance was all that one could wish for. I laid the mulch about 50mm deep along my flower borders and raised veg planters, and it kept the weeds down all through winter and early Spring, with much of it being drawn down into the soil by wildlife. My plants all grew well, and I was delighted with the results. I also bought some of their liquid fertiliser. I was astonished by how well my plants responded to it, especially as I had been using a “big-name” product previously.
We have bought mulch and feed from Apsley for the last 3 years for our garden and our allotment (which we created from scratch with two loads of mulch ) . Both allotment and garden have flourished , the soil is full of life and our normal sandy and clay soil is now deep and humus rich . It’s also very affordable and delivered at no extra cost. I suggest any keen gardener to try some – you won’t be disappointed.
My next door neighbour told me about your product, I tried it and was deeply impressed by the results. It kept the moisture locked in so the plants didn’t wilt during the heat wave and it kept the weeds at bay! Oh and it looks good too!!
I can’t recommend the Apsley mulch highly enough. I use it to mulch our vegetable beds but it comes into its own putting the dahlias to bed in the autumn as I can’t face the thought of lifting them. An added bonus is that it deters the slugs and snails who would devour the whole lot if they had the chance. Somehow the Apsley mulch puts them off. Added to which, delivery is swift, efficient and friendly.
Wow! Just love this stuff, so easy to spread and makes the beds look instantly fab! The soil in our garden is dreadful and I’m looking forward to seeing the results. George the delivery driver couldn’t have been more helpful and was a delight to deal with

I ordered a bag of mulch at 5pm on a Friday and it was delivered mid morning Monday. Lindsey, the driver sent a text advising her eta. The order system is very efficient, you drop a pin where you want the bag positioned. I also spoke to Tom who was very helpful.
Bought 1 ton of mulch and used it mostly on our half allotment, spreading it on cardboard and left some for home garden. All ready for next spring. Very pleased with result and good crops. Also stopped weeds growing.
Great people, very helpful phone service when online system failed, good value products. 3 tons of compost dropped off by friendly driver… really pleased with Apsley and their products and cannot recommend them highly enough.
