We would recommend Apsley Farms.
Brilliant service and very knowledgable, phoned yesterday, Tom was able to answer all our questions and give advice, the driver was also knowledgeable and chatty which can be rare these days.
Great company to deal with
Now to get it on the garden !!

The Apsley mulch has transformed our garden. Light and easy to use, it does a superb job of making beds look neat and tidy and it has been brilliant for our rose bushes! Delivering such a huge grab bag was made to look easy by the friendly and knowledgable Martin and we are delighted to have discovered such a great product.

What more can I say .. Boy is this mulch exceptionally good, possibly the best I have ever seen .. a lot of business could learn from these guys!!! I’m pretty Sure others will struggle to get a driver with a magical talent ..what would seem his little lorry with a tiny crane transforms in to a monster super crane …carefully placing two bags over our large hedge with ease.. these guys and products excelled any expectations.. just like me my dilapidated soil is going to love this.. just simply perfect. !! We had a delivery of soil improver mulch from Apsley Farms last November so have had plenty of time to see the results now. Delivery was easy and on time and came with lots of helpful advice from the driver. The mulch was fairly easy to dig and spread and gave a good covering making our borders look very neat and tidy.


It seems to go a lot further than Apsley recommend even with a generous covering. It started to be taken into the soil through the winter however it is still very much present (early June) on the top layer which has not only formed a really good weed mat but has helped keep the soil damper. I would highly recommend this product which is not only effective but extremely good value for money.
