Apsley’s mulch/soil improver is fabulous stuff! I have used the mulch for all my garden clients over the last few years and have recommended it to friends and family. The quality is great, it’s soil association approved organic, it looks great and, crucially, I can rely on it being exactly the same consistency every time. The team at Apsley are great: very accommodating, flexible and friendly and those who do the deliveries always amaze me with their ability to put the bags exactly where I need them with pinpoint accuracy. The price for the mulch is very reasonable and as long as Apsley continue to provide the same quality of product and service, I would not consider using other suppliers.

Brilliant product, keeps the ground more moist while acting as a mulch, but also feeds the plants and promotes growth. Will buy again.

Recently took delivery of two bulk bags of soil improver (mulch) and four bulk bags of wood chips. Ordering was easy. Delivery superb – driver, Lynsey, expertly reversed up our longish sloping drive and dropped off the six bags with amazing precision … saving me a considerable amount of time and energy. I am a frequent user of the soil improver at our allotment – using it as a deep mulch on my raised beds over the winter months. Ideal for the ‘no dig’ regime I’m now using.

Apsley Farm is the first and the last name I would go if I need quality mulch or garden stuff. They are friendly and helpful. I bought 2 x bags of mulch, and they were delivered on pallets as promised up in Northampton to me. The product was first grade quality as expected. The guy from the farm explained to me different mulches on phone and helped me to decide what is required by me. I highly recommend them and would like to use other products on their online shop.

From ordering to delivery, Apsley’s performance was all that one could wish for. I laid the mulch about 50mm deep along my flower borders and raised veg planters, and it kept the weeds down all through winter and early Spring, with much of it being drawn down into the soil by wildlife. My plants all grew well, and I was delighted with the results. I also bought some of their liquid fertiliser. I was astonished by how well my plants responded to it, especially as I had been using a “big-name” product previously.

We have bought mulch and feed from Apsley for the last 3 years for our garden and our allotment (which we created from scratch with two loads of mulch ) . Both allotment and garden have flourished , the soil is full of life and our normal sandy and clay soil is now deep and humus rich . It’s also very affordable and delivered at no extra cost. I suggest any keen gardener to try some – you won’t be disappointed.

My next door neighbour told me about your product, I tried it and was deeply impressed by the results. It kept the moisture locked in so the plants didn’t wilt during the heat wave and it kept the weeds at bay! Oh and it looks good too!!

I can’t recommend the Apsley mulch highly enough. I use it to mulch our vegetable beds but it comes into its own putting the dahlias to bed in the autumn as I can’t face the thought of lifting them. An added bonus is that it deters the slugs and snails who would devour the whole lot if they had the chance. Somehow the Apsley mulch puts them off. Added to which, delivery is swift, efficient and friendly.
