I used this last year as a winter mulch in my veg beds and borders and it’s made a massive improvement. Far fewer weeds coming up this spring and my perennial plants are all rejoicing with renewed energy. Have never had as many flowers on my strawberry plants as I have now!
Only drawback is having to wheelbarrow it all round to the back of the house. But it’s so worth it

The two bags I bought last year, and spread across the herbaceous borders have been completely absorbed. Found it useful as a 50mm thick dressing to reduce evaporation. It also turns in nicely to help open the soil and break up the clay. Good stuff.

Our first bag of mulch was quickly delivered arrived on time and placed exact where we needed it. The delivery driver Steve took the time to explain about the product and was very knowledgeable about all the products. offered by Apsley farm. GREAT SERVICE

This stuff is amazing! We used it to improve our clay soil a couple of years ago, and have just spread more this week. Our garden is thriving on it.

Our garden is looking fabulous at the moment – this will be year two of mulching from Apsley Farms and it is THE best thing to slow down/stop weeds. And that wasn’t even why we mulched with it – what a bonus!
