I can’t recommend the Apsley mulch highly enough. I use it to mulch our vegetable beds but it comes into its own putting the dahlias to bed in the autumn as I can’t face the thought of lifting them. An added bonus is that it deters the slugs and snails who would devour the whole lot if they had the chance. Somehow the Apsley mulch puts them off. Added to which, delivery is swift, efficient and friendly.
Great mulch, would highly recommend it, good at suppressing weeds, holding moisture in and retain warmth. Meaning less weeding, less watering and will protect your plants as well as feeding them so well worth the money 
I bought 2 bags of this last spring for the garden on my new build house, the soil was very heavy, hardly any worms. By the autumn we had had a bumper crop of veg, and the plants were all thriving, loads of baby worms too. I cannot guarantee it was all down to the soil improver, but I would definitely recommend it.
Today I’m spreading this year’s mulch. It’s so full of micronutrients and visible mycelium. A soft tasty blanket for my plants and the worms and beetles to do their job over the winter.

Best product ever. The Suppression of weeds is – what weeds! As for plants it shrouds them in Winter and provides unequivocal feed constantly. It is also a great habitat for bugs/ pests….some good, some unwanted; but it gives the Blackbirds endless entertainment for the day as they rake around in my beds. Truly unbelievable product.
We love Apsley Farms mulch. We bought two bags last year, though I hadn’t thought to get the grandsons to help spread it out. Memo to self this year…
