Just wanted to say thank you for the friendly help and professional delivery from your driver David. Despite or tight driveway David had no issues where most people making deliveries to our house flap like a flock of geese.

Bought a large bag of woodchips and soil improver mulch for allotment garden at the end of year (2024) in order to put the garden to bed for winter. It was a great decision. The mulch kept weeds completely at bay in the growing beds and the woodchips kept the paths free of weeds for months. The delivery driver was really kind. She craned both bags directly into my allotment plot and was careful not to damage existing plants.

We are really pleased with the large mulch bag delivery by Neil of Aspley Farm... we had an interesting chat, seems that the company is very well run and looks after both it's products and it's staff. It was delivered in an impressive truck with cantilevered crane. Previously, to stop weeds, we used weed fabric covered with bark... but although it looks good, it does not improve the soil and health of plants... so, this year, after neighbours recommended Aspley Farm mulch, we we've bought a large bag and spread it across several beds to a depth of about 3". Logically, it should be better... it certainly looks the part.

Your driver John did a great job reversing up our slightly tricky driveway and positioned the bags perfectly. He was polite, good humoured and a pleasure to talk to. How much easier it is to move the bag to the exact spot required using a lorry with a crane fitted.

Absolutely brilliant customer service, with call and text updates with regards to delivery. My order arrived quickly, and by a friendly and polite delivery driver (Neil). Product itself looks great- I was recommended this company and can see why!

I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with my delivery today to my allotment plot. Harry was professional,on time, and is a real asset to the Apsley Farm team. My plot is a tight squeeze filled with perennial plants so it would be a difficult delivery. But  he was able to place the bag exactly where I wanted and without squashing any plants or fixtures. He was absolutely amazing.

I only ordered my Mulch on Monday and It was all sorted, dispatches and delivered by Friday afternoon. A superb service. Your team have been super helpful in making sure that my address was correct and in checking in to keep me informed of the delivery.    As of yet, I haven’t used the ready mix as I am still clearing my beds to get ready for replanting, but the mix certainly looks and feels very good. I can’t wait to see how the veg and plants respond to it! The Apsley team were a lovely team to deal with. The only criticism I would have (and hence the reason for 4 stars) is please, please, please make sure that notes about the delivery are passed on to the drivers. We have the most horrible site to deliver to and I couldn’t stress that enough at the time of booking. However, I have to give high praise to your driver Neil. Poor chap had to deal with driving into the wrong entrance but with his great skill he dealt with it, but it didn’t need to be that way for him as we do have another much easier entrance. But what a lovely chap to have facing your customers, considering all the stress involved for both parties! Having said that, I will definitely use Apsley again, so that next time I can give you the 5 stars you all deserve! Kind regards Gina

   The ready mix was the perfect medium for our produce last season and we’ll certainly be refreshing our plots with more earlier next year to get in ahead of the rush. Over winter the MULCH is also doing it’s stuff to replenish and protect- perfick!!
