Our Woodchip is sustainably sourced from timber near and around the farm.

It is made up of a blend of soft and hardwood bark chips using the whole tree, it is 100% natural, and it has not been treated.

The woodchip can be used to:

Aid drainage
Chicken runs, they love scratching around in it!
Other outside pet areas
Natural looking paths keeping it mud free
Areas around raised beds to protect ground.
Helps with weed suppression over a large area.

The ideal depth for pet areas and paths would be between 50-100mm, do allow a 10% reduction for settlement.

One bulk bag will cover approximately 10-12m² at a depth of 50mm.

Note, our woodchip is a similar looking product to play area woodchip but is not certified to be used for children’s play area.

The bags are around 730 litres measuring 90cm x 90cm x 90cm.

A couple of days ago the order for Composted Bark was delivered, it was early - great. And I was amazed at the quality!
