How to use

This is a natural product so you can reduce or increase the rate of application, dependat on your plants’ needs.

Pour around the plant base for the best results and quick absorption. Now sit back and watch your plants thrive!

Gently shake before use. Diluting 200ml in 4.5L water in a watering can will do the trick, feeding every 7-14 days.

Give a little extra dose (250ml) for tomatoes to really plump them up, and feed them every 7 days for optimal results.

Only add a capful per litre of water for houseplants.

Feed monthly.

Feed during

  • Spring
  • Summer
  • Autumn to prolong flowering

Product Information

Made from plants itself, our concentrated liquid food will give your plants the boost they need. It not only provides NPK, but valuable secondary nutrients, micronutrients and microbes too. That means vigorous growth, bigger fruits and flowers, improved soil fungal activity and therefore, improved soil structure.

With more nutrients being taken up into your veg, they’ll be even tastier and more nutritious! With an N:P:K ratio of 0.6:0.1:0.6, and the fact that it has heated thousands of homes sustainably, this product really is green.

We’ve thoroughly tested our product, enabling us to be proud of its quality and effectiveness.

We’re fully approved by the Soil Association.

Organic growers – you’re in safe hands!

As a natural, crop derived liquid, Natural Plant Food from Apsley Farms delivers the full package of macronutrients, micronutrients, and beneficial microbes! This is not just your average NPK liquid fertiliser.

A by-product of green energy

Have you ever thought about where your usual shop-bought liquid plant food comes from? Chances are it’s made specifically for the purpose of feeding your plants, using raw materials, and creating a carbon footprint in the process.

Choose a totally natural alternative instead. By the time it reaches you our plant food has already helped to heat thousands of houses with green gas instead of fossil fuels. Our 5 litre containers are fully recycled and recyclable too, of course. So, every drop of our plant food is doing good for your garden and the planet.

Sustainability and efficiency are at the heart of everything we do at Apsley Farms. We’ve adopted cutting edge technologies and turned low value crops into renewable energy. We focus on a circular economy by returning the nutrients in our digestate products back to the land as a fertiliser.

Our process of generating green gas and other important by-products ticks three important boxes: it displaces natural gas (fossil fuel) in the gas grid to heat people’s homes; it displaces CO2 made by the fertiliser industry, which is essential in the food industry; and it simultaneously generates natural fertiliser in the process!

Gardeners, we have your horticultural, environmental and sustainability concerns at the heart of who we are.

Just writing to say how delighted I am with the results of the liquid fertilizer and mulch you supplied to us last month. Already the blooms in our flower boxes are fuller, healthier and lasting longer. We have just replanted the borders of our car park and we look forward to seeing the results there too as the new planting takes hold.

I tried this totally plant-based liquid feed for the first time this summer, instead of my usual feed, on a test row of tomatoes. I was hugely impressed by the size of the fruit which were a Polish variety of raspberry oxheart. They are usually big and full of flavour, but this time much larger and just as tasty. It seemed to produce good results with french beans, dwarf and climbing, and celeriac too.
- Maria Keniston, , Convenor at Park Road Allotments, Winchester
Despite my initial scepticism, I used the liquid feed (exclusively) on my greenhouse tomatoes and had a very good crop. I'm certainly going to give it a try on other crops.
- David Howells, experienced grower and seed grower for Garden Organic’s Heritage Seed Library. , Winchester 2021
I used Apsley Natural Plant Food on my tomatoes and beans. And I used a smaller, lower amount in propagation. The lower rate helped the plants to become greener. The feed is very easy to mix and apply with a watering can.  Overall a good garden product.
- Rosy Hardy, seasoned grower,
Purchased 2 containers of liquid plant food from the stand at the Three Counties show recently. The product is excellent and the transformation in my container plants is nothing short of a miracle. Will definitely be ordering more and also the soil improver product in the bulk bags which looks an outstanding addition to any soil. Cannot recommend too highly
